dr martens 3 eyelet shoes
ok, i definitely feel myself again now my fringe is back in. ain't it crazy what a difference a fringe can make? i thought i'd take 10 to photograph today's outfit and show off a couple of the pieces i featured in yesterday's asos haul post and how i style them. spring hasn't quite decided if it's sprung or not yet so it's still a bit nippy out regardless of how brightly the sun's shining, so i've been pairing this jumper and skirt with a faux leather gilet and some thick tights for that extra bit of warmth.
today also sees the debut of my dr martens that i got for christmas, but i've had a complete love/hate relationship with them ever since because the breaking them in period has been tough. i completely cut my heels up a few times wearing these, but i think the worst is now over and i can wear them happily without fearing for my feet, but time will tell (please, please be kind to me, shoes!) even if not, at least they look bloody good and make a decent pair of driving shoes, something i was desperately in need of seeing as i just can't drive in heels, sigh.
I love this outfit.
